I called the contractor back and he said it was the screen on top that was rattling and that they are known for that. First, is that true and second does that sound like the problem.

Bryant is junk. Paid $8000 for a heat pump / ac unit. 1 1/2 year later the compressor took a dump. Bryants warrantee does not cover labor at all. Had to pay $1,300 to have it replaced. Wish I could throw it through their front window. Never ever again will I purchase anything with the Bryant name on it and I suggest you do the same.
