VCP uses tt fonts the same as a lot of other cad/design programs. Most of them as has been said are made up of lots amp; lots of nodes rather than a series of arcs amp; straight lines. You would need to convert any text to curves amp; then node edit it to ensure it cut true curves. Same thing is true if using a vinyl plotter when cutting text.

The Documentation says TTF fonts . The Text input menu gives a choice of TrueType or Single Line fonts . However, I did a test and downloaded a free OTF font (AeroliteCPone_Medium.otf) and it seems to work fine in VCP 9. I had the TrueType radio button highlighted and chose the OTF font anyway.
