I found what's involved to repair and refill the oil reservoir. The GM part number for the left side quot;drivers sidequot; lift cylinder is 92241518, passenger side cylinder part number is 92241519. I am not sure if it is the original pump . Anyway, how is the best way to fill it? the whole system is empty now (cylinders, lines, and pump /tank). I know about running a tube from tank to a bottle with tube submerged in fluid , but does the tank and/or cylinders need to be filled first? The GM manual is kind of vague. Thanks,

The fluid in the floor may be from the reservoir, but you will also need to ensure the main lift cylinders aren't also leaking. Doesn't sound like the pump itself is bad. Where are you located, there are a number of members here who have experience removing/installing hydraulic cylinders and reseating reservoirs.
