If the compressor will not turn on, first check to see if it has any voltage going to the clutch. If it does not then replace the low pressure switch.

Hi, I have a Carrier- Infinity that was installed in 2008. It was working fine for the last week or so. We had a power failure today and the compressor will not come back on. The indoor fan is running fine, but no compressor . I called the installer and he can;t get here until Monday. Is there anything I can do to "reset" the compressor .
