Converting text to lines : When I convert this text to lines , I end up with jagged lines . Try using the Arcs from curve tool in the arc toolbar So all the entities become arcs for smooth cnc cutting. I ended up using inkscape for the text then importing the dxf into VC to finish the part. I’m sure I could work around it by drawing 4 line segments and 4 arcs . The reason for the question is whether I need to always be looking for this kind of issue and expect needing to rework geometry or if there are some Inkscape features I should avoid using because they have known issues when Estlcam is the next step.
