Is there a way to open iwi files?

Probably can be opened and edited by modding tools. There seems to have been one utility called IWI to DDS converter which can convert .iwi files to .dds textures. We were unable to load Disqus.

It can also convert textures (.iwi) into PNG files. To do so, you have to drag a file onto the imgXiwi.exe. Made by TheMomo5502, all glory to him. i had it allready or mayby a earlier version but it works great! so much time that won't get wasted by doing the HeX shit and stuff, great to see that some one put it here!

How do i edit an iwi file?

It's useful for creating an IWI file when all you want to edit is the IWI file itself and leave the materials file alone: convert to DDS; edit it to how you want to; drop the edited DDS file on the dds2iwi.exe, and out pops an IWI that wont need Asset Manager open and run.

What does iwi stand for?
