PS5 apparently supports Kraken on hardware level. However, not all games use Oodle Kraken and instead use other compression methods. In those cases, PS5 more than likely doesn't have a similar advantage. Games on all platforms, including PS4 and Xbox One, can still use Kraken . Microsoft has mentioned BCPack texture compression and hardware
