About Compressor La2a Clone . I Also have Isa 220 and as I wrote amek CIB and a few other pres as well. It’s a versatile compressor that gives you a wide range of adjustments.. The only other LA2A example I've used is the Cakewalk CA-2A which I would also recommend for some smooth compression.

I am currently working with the following vocal chain: Neumann U87 into Warm Audio 1073 clone into Warm Audio 1176 clone into Warm Audio LA2A clone , into an Apollo Twin. I have messed around with the settings and continue to be a bit dissatisfied with how the vocals sound once I play back the recording on the DAW.

This LA-2A clone is in perfect working condition. I've never had any issues with it & it sounds great. I'm just getting rid of some lesser used gear of mine. I bought it in May of 2019 on Reverb from a user that claimed to only use it for 30 min. If I had to guess I've

Another +1 for the Drip Electronic LA2A here. My unit was hand built by Gregory himself (because I wouldn't know where to start with DIY) but it sounds fantastic. It was built with the highest of high end components and I have some NOS Mullard and GE tubes in and it's glorious. My go to vocal and bass compressor .
