These Terms of Service govern your use of the GoConvertFile file conversion platform. By accessing or using GoConvertFile, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.

By accessing or using GoConvertFile ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms, you may not access or use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

GoConvertFile provides an online file conversion platform that allows users to convert files between various formats. The Service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without notice. We are not responsible for any damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Service.

As a user of GoConvertFile, you agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
• Not upload files that contain malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Not attempt to circumvent any limits or restrictions imposed by the Service
• Not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Not interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws

Certain features of the Service may require account registration. When you create an account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You agree not to use GoConvertFile to:

• Upload, convert, or distribute copyrighted material without authorization
• Process files containing child exploitation material or any illegal content
• Upload files that contain malware, ransomware, or other harmful software
• Engage in any activity that could damage, disable, or impair the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its systems
• Use automated scripts or bots to access or interact with the Service without prior written consent

The GoConvertFile name, logo, and platform design are proprietary. The Service itself, including its code, design, and infrastructure, is owned by GoConvertFile and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to the files you upload and convert. GoConvertFile does not claim ownership over your files. By using the Service, you grant us a temporary license to process your files solely for the purpose of providing the conversion service.

Files uploaded to GoConvertFile are processed automatically and are temporarily stored for the duration of conversion. Uploaded files are automatically deleted from our servers within 1 hour of processing. We strongly recommend that you download your converted files promptly. GoConvertFile is not responsible for any loss of data resulting from failure to download converted files within the retention period.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GoConvertFile and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
• Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code that may be transmitted through the Service
• Any loss of data resulting from file deletion or processing failure

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. GoConvertFile MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE OPERATION OR AVAILABILITY OF THE SERVICE, OR THE INFORMATION, CONTENT, MATERIALS, OR PRODUCTS INCLUDED. YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in San Francisco County, California.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. By continuing to access or use the Service after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you must stop using the Service.
