Opposite Of Compression

Most I have used (and not many) are too subtle, I want the opposite of heavy compression , and many are more complicated as well. Or maybe I just don't have what I am looking for already. Basically, I would like something that when pushed, it almost filters out low sounds, opposite of compressing low sounds to bring them up.
