It's definitely a NEMA 6-20 but can also accept a NEMA 6-15 plug . With a NEMA 6-20 adapter you could theoretically charge at up to 3.8kW (240V x 16A), which actually isn't too bad. However, Tesla doesn't make an adapter for NEMA 6-20 so you'd have to look for an alternative or make an adapter on your own.
